Responses are reviewed for duplicates, test submissions and completeness.
Analysis
Valid responses are analysed and themes are extracted from free-text answers.
Independent review
The draft report is reviewed by an independent reviewer before publication.
Publication
Verified findings, statistics and anonymised quotations are published here.
An anonymous online survey distributed to children's home managers and leaders across the United Kingdom via LinkedIn, professional networks and direct outreach. Responses are collected anonymously — no name, email or organisation name is stored. The survey covers recruitment difficulty, retention, employer brand and technology adoption.
Inclusion criteria
- ✓ Currently work in or with children's residential homes in the UK
- ✓ Completed the full survey (all required questions answered)
- ✓ Role is related to management, recruitment or operations
Exclusion criteria
- ✕ Incomplete responses (did not reach the final question)
- ✕ Test submissions
- ✕ Duplicate submissions from the same anonymous session
