Deliverability beats features

A platform with every feature is useless if your emails land in spam. Choose a platform with strong UK deliverability, dedicated IP options at scale and clear bounce/spam handling.

For small lists, Mailchimp and Brevo are fine; for automation and growth, Klaviyo and ActiveCampaign pull ahead.

Make sure it's GDPR-ready

You need documented consent, easy unsubscribe and a lawful basis. Ensure the platform supports double opt-in, stores consent timestamps and lets you export/delete a subscriber on request.

Plan for automation from day one

The real value of email is automated sequences, welcome series, abandoned enquiries, re-engagement, not one-off blasts. Pick a platform whose automation builder you can actually use.

Frequently asked questions

What does email marketing cost per month?

Platform fees start around £9–£20/month for small lists and rise with subscriber count. Our managed email service starts from £149/month + VAT including setup, templates and campaigns.

Is Mailchimp still a good choice?

For very small lists it's fine, but pricing climbs fast and automation is limited compared to Klaviyo or ActiveCampaign. We help you choose based on your growth plans.
